When I joined the stables in November I could just walk and trot. I joined a weekly class with Ruth who taught me to canter within a couple of months!! Without her I wouldn’t have much such good progress. Through her I have developed a passion for horses and found riding very enjoyable and fun. Last week I progressed to doing small jumps with Buckle which I am super excited about. He’s also a very experienced teacher with a good sense of humour who teaches the whole class but gives you 121 suggestions and things to work on. I will never be a Grand Prix rider but with my determination they will make me a serious rider. Finding good teachers can be hard, leaving them will be even harder! Thank you Hall Place, you are awesome!

I always have a great time at Hall Place. I've been going to Hall Place for many years as both a livery client and more recently a riding school client. The staff are really friendly and helpful and the horses are well looked after. I am an experienced rider and they have some lovely horses which help me to do some more advanced riding. They also have some lovely horses that would suit a real beginner. They have a lot of shows in the year so plenty of opportunity to practice what you have learnt, this gives me something to work towards instead of just having lots of lessons.
Fantastic place. Highly recommend. Very friendly and encouraging staff. Love the horses they are just gorgeous. Big thumbs up from me.
My daughter had her party here the instructor Ruth was very abrupt and had no people skills very abrupt with the children until I complained then she did change her attitude very upset how I was spoken to and for the amount of money I paid I've had better service in the pound shop I would not recommend and I would not go back my daughter is keen on doing lessons and we are only 10 mins from this stable I would rather drive further out and find somewhere more suitable and where you will be spoken with respect when you pay over 400 for a party very disappointing I went home and felt very upset about the turn out :( kelly Emma and the lady in the cafe were very nice it's a shame our experience was ruined by one person with a very negitive attitude
