I took my car here recently after seeing some positive reviews on Google. My car failed the MOT (which I was expecting), Halfords then told me it would be in total 1,500 for the work needed to pass the MOT and a service. After asking what was wrong with the car for it to fail, I quickly noticed that the work that was needed shouldn't come to anywhere near 1,500! I paid the amount for just the MOT and collected my car. I then took it to another garage which a few of my family members use, for another MOT to find half the things Halfords said were wrong, were not at all and the work that needed doing plus a service would come to 500. The price comparison is ridiculous and I am shocked that Halfords get away with charging that much money - it's a complete scam!

Made an appointment online and payed, arrived a few minutes before the time requested. Only to find they were closed. What a waste of my time and energy. Please keep your money in your pocket and go to a garage who are customer focused.

Fast servicing, competitive prices, friendly staff and a wide range of products available (tyres, brakes, servicing/MoT) to be booked online and, I assume, in store too. Convenient location for residents of Witney as it's within walking distance of the town centre and easily accessible to the whole town, depending on walking ability of course.
booked a MOT today. Went to the auto Centre in the early morning 8am. They are Closed!!! Without any notice! Still received text message from Halfords to remind me ! Rang to the customer service help lane try to get the refund! Keep as me to ring other teams. But other team also closed! and customer service not able to refund me, they are not connect! ridiculous
