I book a service to replace 2 tyres and align the front wheels at 2 pm, online. I arrive in time, took them 2 hours to replace 2 wheel and in the end they forgot to align the wheels. I now need to go back once again - and I've since discovered that surprise surprise they didn't feel up the pressure correctly and my car is displaying an error now, definitely ridiculously slow service poorly done. Not recommended at all.
Just went for a free car repair check and clutch check, they did the job perfectly as promised. Told me what the problems was, gave me a report and how much it would cost. The staff looked after my car very well and treated me as a valuable customer. I would highly recommend everyone to go to them.

I have had an awful experience yet again with Halfords and would honestly recommend YOU DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICE! I had to pay over 700 to have my brakes repaired (which was not even repaired properly so had to be redone a few months ago). I then had my MOT only to be told AGAIN there was a problem with the brakes and it would cost another 400 to repair. I explained that this was impossible as my car had undergone a full brake check and any defects would be covered under the brakes for life scheme. They made a lousy excuse as to why I had to pay for the repairs and I had no choice as I needed the car back. The manager at the branch was quick to blame the other manager for the 'botched repairs' they carried out but this was no use to me if I still had to pay for the repairs. Having read other reviews it appears it's a common issue and they 'make up' defects to extort money out of people which is so bad especially in this climate! They also claimed they found another defect AFTER the MOT had been carried out and it would cost another 300 to repair. This would mean that all defects found on the car under 1 MOT would have been 900! My car has never had these problems EVER so I got an independent opinion and their simple response was 'you've been ripped off'. Please be warned Halfords will sabotage your car to find defects in your car and it a number of branches doing it as I have discovered.
