A recent visit to Halfords Bescot, Walsall to purchase a bike (1st in many years). Got to say, customer service was 10/10 and has been on the several visits made. Stand out staff member for me was Jordan as i dealt with him the most, but all staff on the bike section deserve a mention and some credit. Well done Halfords Bescot. Happy to recommend and use again.

Covid Care is very Bad. Not safe. People Queuing on the tills close together. Definitely not safe.
I took my bike there with the Government 50 voucher for a service. I needed a brake bleed among other things, but I ended up having to buy a new brake because it looked like they did not know what they were doing. I had to take my bike back twice for them to adjust the gears and brake. I even had to adjust the handle bars and brake lever myself to a better position. I must admit every time I rang up with a problem they were friendly and did the repairs, hence the 2 stars. But after the last time I got me bike back, the gears still had not been adjusted that well, despite me paying for two new gear cables. I need to get the gears adjusted again but I am taking my bike to an independent store instead. The trouble with Halfords - Walsall is they use kids for their work. There needs to be some Technicians with experience who know what they are doing. I will not go back there again unfortunately.
Really helpful guy. Changed the inner tube. Very friendly. Probably took no more than 15 minutes.
