Opened early (8.30am on a Sat morning) in order to put my little girls hair up in a bun for a gymnastics competition and what a perfect bun! Also, advised and showed me how to try to do it myself for in future. As well as giving advice on my daughters hair for weekly maintenance as she her hair is very fine but full of tangles. FANTASTIC and a huge THANK YOU!
Took a day off work to get my hair cut and coloured at Hair by Caroline. Caroline is quick to slate newly qualified hairdressers on how they don't know how to blow dry hair properly yet before cutting my hair she blasted it with the hairdryer then straightened it then cut it. So not the cut and blow dry I expected. The cut is uneven and an inch longer at one side. She cut 2 inches off the back even though I asked her to only trim it. I did revisit her and pointed out all the faults with my hair and to be fair to her she did agree and offered to 'fix' it but the trust has gone and I told her she will never touch my hair again. I told her the colour is ok-ish - a bit uneven where she's got mixed up with the blonde and brown foils - a large chunk of blonde where she's clearly missed a brown and its not been weaved very well so my hair looks quite stripey but I can live with that because I get my hair coloured every 6-8 weeks but the cut is so bad and uneven I have got another hairdresser to fix it. I asked for a partial refund and was insulted by her offer of 10. Obviously I let her keep it because she clearly needs the money more than me. The worst haircut I've ever had in my life and after growing it for months I've now ended up with short hair to get the lengths even.
Really pleasant hair salon. Its small but has a nice atmosphere to it and the hair dressers do exactly what you would like them to do and even give a little bit of advice.
