Wonderfully calm place to spend a day or night fishing or just chilling
Lovely natural venue, well maintained wood chip swims, Simon the Bailiff provided some great tips and I managed to winkle out about a dozen decent sized Rudd and Roach on a very cold day using a maggot feeder on the quiver tip. Biggest plus for me is it has a nice balance of different species to fish for. I am looking forward to returning for another session.
Nice place good facilities caught a few fish but deff not a runs water but time spent can give rewards
A lovely lake in the heart of the East Sussex countryside, on a good day you can catch a mixed bag of fish, bream, roach, carp etc, methods for me are float fishing, or quivertipping. There are a number of reasonable carp in the water, which can be targetted by the usual carp fishing way. Beware...it is in a bit of a mobile phone black hole !
