I visited the farm thinking it would be a nice walk with my daughter to see the animals and then we could see the go for afternoon tea. Unfortunately, they no longer have anything other than the small tearooms and a small farm shop.. What I thought was going to be a lively day out, turned into a very short trip for lunch out.

Lovely brunch had with the girls the sausages and bacon are amazing!! The girls had cakes after which were generous and they loved. After a relaxed brunch we went to the farm shop and I bought some wonderful chilli and leek sausages and the tastiest pork pie I've ever eaten the seasoning was perfect. We will be back.

Breakfast was good and so was the service. We had emailed our booking and got an email back confirming our booking. But our booking wasn't on the list when we got there. They found us a table though. There isn't a lot of parking as there are new houses being built around the Hackwood farm buildings.

Am excellent farm shop and cafe with a good range of fresh, seasonal fruit and vegetables and a butchers stall.

Charming little tea room with devious food and really friendly staff. Ordered one too many scones to takeaway for afters. Would recommend
