Wow, what an amazing hotel. On the lagoon beach, surrounded by trees and natural vegetation, wild birds nest in the trees, peace and quiet everywhere, spacious rooms, comfortable beds! Natural wood design with local motifs, smiling staff. Great place to catch some peace or take a stroll in the area.

Only ate at the restaurant. Amazing food quality, plate sizes are definitely best for sharing. Coconut ice cream, two thumbs up. Price is very low and well worth it.
It was bad the rooms aren’t clean you have to clean the yourself. You could only eat pancakes for lunch

Enjoy beautiful sunsets while eating their homemade coconut ice. The staff is really nice and helpful and the Hacienda is the perfect place to start a hike up the Madera vulcanos - a hike worthwhile not for the probably clouded view but for climb-hiking through the djungle at the top. The place tries to be as environmental as possible. It might occure a bit run down due to the current lack of tourism but you will find a handful of international couples relaxing between geckos and adorable dogs.
