This is such a fascinating story of a family who showed real heroism and bravery during the atrocities of WWII in Holland. I was so honored to finally visit the home and now museum of the Ten Boom family. Their story of courage, then of forgiveness is one that truly touches the heart. I’ve lived in the Nederlands for over five years and this was one of the first places on my list that I had wanted to visit. Unfortunately it took me until today to finally take the short trip out to Haarlem and take the tour. Because of the covid, and no tourists around I was thrilled and lucky to be the only guest on today’s tour. Elie told the history with such feeling and knowledge, that I was on the edge of my seat even though I already knew what was to come. It was such a humble feeling to be in the rooms and house where such bravery and terror occurred. The Ten Booms gave shelter, food, hospitality and hope in a time when it was so hard to give. I’m so glad their history and their story lives on. Thank you Elie and Fritz for doing what you do to keep the Ten Boom history alive.

I haven’t been but I have read a book about Corrie Ten Boom. The fact that she went against what the Nazi’s were doing alone makes me feel hope that there are people out there that care. I know the name of the hiding place that was made. The Angels Den. The book is named almost the keeper of the angels den. I wish to come here in Holland and the surrounding cities to preach the word. I hope that people will realise the aventure and pain Christian’s like the Tone Boom family went through.

Long queue but worth. Visited Anne Frank but very heavy feeling, this one very bright feeling instead. Last for one hour and tour by a volunteer by a woman ATY who explain the story, show the hidden place in the old days. And you can even try it. Told even one of the survivors out of the 6 hidden persons who come back to visit the place before. Come to see the hidden place by yourself and to feel the love and forgiveness.

First of all, it's FREE! Secondly, even though they limit the tours to 20 people, they accepted everyone who waited in line for the English speaking tour and turned noone away except the Dutch speakers who were asked to wait a half-hour until the Dutch tour. The guide was friendly, warm, knowledgeable, and concerned with dispelling misinformation with the truth. I love Corrie ten Boom. She is one of my heroes! We wanted to support the museum so we bought a couple books happily.

The Ten Boom museum was amazing in the sense that it brought the child hood stories if the Hiding Place during WW11 to life. It was an incredible experience and I would love to come again
