Spectacularly DISAPPOINTED. That would sum up our visit to Joops. We visited there with my elderly parents and our toddler. Despite stating on their facilities that Joops has elevators and accessibility to disabled, they fail to state that this is only true of some rooms. Which meant that my elderly parents had to climb up 2 flights of narrow circular stairs. We also had to carry our luggage and baby stroller up those stairs. The rooms only have the bare essentials, one bed lamp for 4 people. The kitchenette is basically a bare room with a sink and running water. NO cups, no mini refrigerator (which we specifically made sure about when booking, because my mother is a diabetic and her insulin needs to be kept cold.) When we reported this, the hotel staff just said sorry they were fully booked and that we couldn't get any other room. (we booked months in advance, so it isn't as though we just rocked up and started demanding things.) This hotel is NOT FAMILY FRIENDLY, (or at least our room was not) it does not have accessibility for disabled visitors, it does not have anyone on site to assist, it does not provide more than one key card, it has no air-conditioning. So if you want lots of stairs, a bed, one bed lamp and running water for a few hundred euros, then this is the place for you. But I would give this hotel a skip if you have a family or any specific needs.

I'll give this 3 stars not because it's a 3 star hotel but because it does simple cheap accommodation well. It's a no frills single room in the middle of town. Clean and well maintained. Slippery bathroom floor. Stairwell smells a bit but it's perfectly clean, may have been strange industrial chemicals.
Internet doesn't work. Very basic rooms. Good value compared to others in the area. Well located in centre of city.
I wasn’t allowed to come inside because I didn’t had the passport with me (even I showed them the confirmation paying reservation on mail and other several identification cards). I fall asleep until I was waiting for my husband to bring the passport and the woman of the front desk say that “will call security” (even I explain I was waiting, she was extramly rude and Unrespectful). I asked if I could wait in the room and refuse. The front desk (same person) is share with the embassy hotel (2 hotels in the same building)...just to Let know
You have to check in at a different hotel around the corner. Check in was at 1500, which is late, and the room still wasn't ready on time. Room was clean quite spacious. Great location in the centre of town.
The room wasn't very clean - it didn't look vacuumed or mopped for several days. And the cleaning staff only came in at 7pm on our second evening there and we had already run out of toilet paper and came back for the days adventures to unmade beds and an untidy room. Otherwise, nothing major to complain about. The wifi initially wasn't working but when we reported it, it was fixed by the next day. It's a very simple, nothing fancy hotel but the beds were comfortable and we were happy enough with our stay.
Comfy and with a lift but sugnificant amount of money went missing from the room. Receptionist pretended to not understand English.
Very nice location, people are friendly at the front desk. The rooms are nicely clean, and they have laundry machines in the hotel. The rooms are a little plain, the beds are a little uncomfortable because it is two single beds pushed together, this makes for problems when your partner is staying with you. But overall I have stayed with them for years. And I recommend the hotel. I would like to thank them for their contribution when staying with them.. Best regards to all the staff..
