This is one of our favorite restaurant in Haarlem. We visited twice. The ribs and skewer are very delicious. The drinks are also good. They also provide salad and fries with the main dishes. The staff was also very nice and friendly. We had a very nice dinner there.

I've been here like a thousand times and never had a bad experience here. The staff is great and they have great beers. One of my favorite pubs in Haarlem!
Cosy beer café, offers a good selection of draught and bottled beer. They have several exclusive brews as well and a bar cat.
At the Botermarkt in Haarlem we had our lunch.... a lovely salad with a lot of different ingredients. A glass of wine on the side made it a fantastic lunch. Chairs are a bit uncomfortable. There is a lovely black cat which like to sleep on one of the chairs and doesn't care what is happening around him....

The house beer and bitters are quite good; food is tasty though the vegetarian options are limited and I have been disappointed by most in the past. I had the fried brie this time, which is always delicious. I've been coming here for the last 11 years and it has really improved a lot in that time.

Hard chairs/benches, but with a cushion it's fine. Friendly servers and overall short waiting time on delivery for beverages. Only place where they serve Hertog Jan on bottle, big plus.
