We had a great evening session kayaking around Swanage bay, Steve put us at ease straight away, he was on top of all the necessary h&s, felt very safe, a thoroughly great session, cant wait to go out again!

I did an evening kayaking taster session with Steven - absolutely loved it. Really nice guy and a great instructor who makes the event fun and engaging for participants of all ability levels. Definitely a value for money experience and would highly recommend.

I had a great 2 hours out in Swanage bay with H2O Adventures. Steve gave us great instructions, some individual coaching tips and made it fun with some group games too. The great weather made the event even better too.

Steve provides me with a full 2 day course that resulted in my Sea Kayak Qualification. 1st day was knoll beach ( studland) to Swanage and we covered self rescue, kayak techniques( sometimes in caves) and lots about the environment and how to read it to stay safe. Loved it all- especially hanging upside down ( deliberating) waiting to flick myself back up using the front of Steve’s kayak. 2nd day was Poole hbr due to SW winds gusting quite high etc. I had to plan the trip ( tides, wind , route etc) and we set off constantly reading the changing weather. Some tough paddling into the wind between islands and really great experience to improve technique. Weather didn’t follow the forcast( surprise surprise) so we used the Lee of Brownsea island to get within shoring distance of our starting point on the Studland side. Knowing we had 1.5kts of ebb we crossed managing the wind, the chop and using the stream. A different day to the first but so much learnt. Always safe but also allowed the freedom to set own limits. I highly recommend Steve and look forward to going out with him again in the future- after practising my skills further in safe areas.
