I live in Burghfield Common and have been going here more and more because the meat is so good, the selection is great (frozen packs for BBQs are excellent) and the staff always happy to sugggest what you might need. Thoroughly recommend.

I've been going here for about 20 years. The quality of the meat is excellent, the range extensive and everyone very friendly and helpful. I order my Christmas turkey from here every year and it is always delicious. Scrupulously clean too.
Great selection of frozen food, though the fresh meat I was served left a bit to be desired, when paying top whack for a product you expect the butchery to be exempt I was served and charged for a leg of lamb with its foot attached and H bone still in, the belly pork Joint still had it’s membrane and back fat attached again this should be removed it’s simple butchery and expected, (it’s tough and being charged for it when it’s waste) the sirloin still had the grissel chain attached to it, I’m not sure if this was lazy butchery or a way to charge more for their products. Very disappointed especially when paying over 80.
Expensive but high quality goods. Great selection and if you're after something and can't see it, ask the staff because they probably have exactly what you're after. Also do packs for BBQs and more. But you'll probably have to ask rather than be asked. Loads of free parking.
Friendly service from David the Butcher, helpful guidance and information about products. During busy periods of the year I can phone and pre-order and my items are always available for collection. The quality of the meat is excellent and price wise comparable with supermarket. However, customers get personal attention of experienced butcher in the cutting of their choice of meat. The meat sold is sourced from farms that are regularly visited by David to assure the highest quality. I have never been dissapointed by the quality and service from this shop, we've been using it for 15yrs, live locally and highly recommend the place!
