The Community Foundation for Surrey was first recommended to me through my Inspiring Enterprise lady. I was given a really helpful grant from the foundation last summer to help me get back into work during my career break after my time in hospital for depression. My experience with the foundation's been brilliant from before, during and after the grant was given to me. The form's were simple to fill in, the admin work was done as soon as possible and the ladies on the phone were super helpful every single time with no exceptions. The grant lady Katie’s been consistently excellent to me. She’s been very good all round in terms of her ability, efforts and intentions I feel. I really liked how she put up with me so to speak – I don’t know what it is but I happened to feel stressed out, not 100% and down concentration wise whenever I called. She was always, always, always sincere, understanding and caring. I'm sorry to hear that she's leaving but am also happy that she'll hopefully be able to help people elsewhere the way she's supported me. I appreciated that you guys believed in me when it mattered to me. Thank you!!! Raza )
