We went for my birthday dinner. The service and the food was awesome. Everything was cooked beautifully and their wine selection was amazing. Very pricey so somewhere to come for special occasions but definitely worth it!

I took my friend to Guard and Grace for a nice birthday dinner. The atmosphere was relaxing and staff was friendly. Once they sat us it was nice because the lighting made it feel like we were alone in the restaurant. The octopus appetizer was amazing it was cooked perfectly. The steak was very good, mine could have used a little more salt but was cooked to my liking. The gnocchi, mushrooms, and chipotle potatoes were all delicious. I highly recommend the gnocchi! The service at the end was a little slow I had to ask for the check a few times. But overall a wonderful experience and great night. I’ll definitely be back for another special occasion.
Very upscale. Cod was real good. Only reason I give it 4 stars is it was a little noisy (it is downtown) for such a classy place. I'd prefer to return with my friends than with my family. If that makes sense.
My husband and I got engaged here 5 years ago and love to go at least once or twice a year as a real treat. We had excellent service and accommodations! Every item we had was fresh, hot and cooked to perfection For the appetizer we ordered oysters and shrimp cocktail (shrimp are large and priced per shrimp). The ceasar salad is huge and you only need to order a half portion if your not sharing it. The truffle mac and cheese was outstanding!!! We both had steaks and they were cooked to perfection we were so full afterwards, but wanted to get a treat for later and settled on the triple chocolate chip cookies which they serve hot in a to go container---they smelled so good we had one before leaving and were overwhelmingly pleased. We would highly recommend!!!
The atmosphere was wonderful and lively. For a Friday night it seemed like the traffic was pretty light. We started with dessert first as always and this set the course off right. The chef creates a featured dessert that is not on the menu so that was nice twist. The appetizer and main dish was average in my opinion. (Heavy on the salty side) I ended up selecting a scallops and pork belly dish. A few bites were very shelly and took away from the experience, pork belly seemed over seasoned. The popcorn on the plate just seemed like it did not belong there. Almost like a what's wrong with this picture situation. All that being said it was still an enjoyable evening.
