I 'm based in Hertford (approx 5 miles away), was recommended this butchers by a friend, have shopped there 3 times in the past fortnight and they are just excellent. Super friendly service, great quality meat and reasonable prices. Well worth travelling to.

Excellent service, great meat , good price. So much better than meat from supermarkets.
A First Class Quality Traditional Proper Butchers. Made my first visit here last week and it won't be my last. Haven't tasted meat of this quality for ages. The sirloin steak was melt in the mouth, sausages were one of the best I've ever tasted, minted lamb chops are to die for and as for the smoked bacon well it's what bacon should taste like i.e. not injected with water/salt so it reduces in size and taste when cooked. I have made my last visit to a supermarket to buy meat, why should I ? with this quality and friendly staff it's a no brainier. My only regret is that I've not discovered this gem before now !
The staff are always very helpful and friendly. Great service and always with a smile. The meat is always fresh and very tasty. We always buy minted lamb steaks for special occasions. It is great value and always delicious
Good selection. Friendly service, reasonably priced. Once you try you may not go back to supermarket quality.
