Grosvenor Fish Bar

There are few foods more comforting in a crisis than fish and chips. (Which, like my family, actually originate from France although they appear very British.) Anyhow, I have a fondency for giant battered sausages and am pleased to report the ones served by the Grosvenor are of impressive size. Both my sausage and chips today were fresh and hot. And the service was fast and friendly. Although food is take away only at present, St Gregory's Green lies adjacent with benches and a wall that you can perch upon to enjoy your meal. (I perch like a dark crow, but make rather less noise.)

Definitely one of the best fish and chips restaurants I have been too. Tempura batter for the dairy free gang and chips to die for. This place doesn't just offer the standard fayre, all though that is available too if that's your pleasure. it also expands its range and your taste spuds to more adventurous food. The staff / owners are incredibly friendly and very helpful. this is a place where you can look forward to your lunch. Visitors Peel yourself away from the market this place is less than a minute away and is Highly Recommended.

Such a joke. Forgot to pack half of our food when ordering through Uber eats and when I called to inform the staff at the fish bar they just told us that it wasn’t their problem and we would have to contact Uber eats for a refund. We didn’t want a refund, we wanted our food...I think considering they’re the ones that didn’t pack the order correctly they should be taking responsibility for it. So disappointing when we’ve paid more to have a really nice takeaway. Really unimpressed with the customer service and lack of empathy and understanding. Won’t be bothering to return and certainly will not be recommending.
