Don’t be spooked by the antisocial sales person, he won’t bite (or maybe he will, I’m not sure ). He’s a bit of a goof, however what true geek isn’t right? They have everything you aren’t looking for and I love it. I have frequently visited this store for a couple of years now and I still feel like I’m about to enter a scene from ‘the never ending story’. If you’re looking for an experience like you haven’t had before, this store is the place to go. I strongly recommend any Geek visits this store because there is a ton of stuff to geek out over. The problem is that it’s mostly hidden in the many piles of stuff this hoard is made out of.

If I could have given zero stars I would have. The store is a mess and the owner is horribly rude. I went here with a couple friends, mixed company of Dutch and international students, so we were all speaking English which will be relevant later. First of all everything has ridiculously high prices. You can find everything in that store and more for half the price on the internet. A few of my friends were looking to buy something, but most of us were just looking around. After a while of looking around the store owner told us very rudely to get out if we weren't there to buy something. When I pointed out to one of my friends that the store was horribly organize, overpriced, and the owner was very unpleasant he started cussing at us in Dutch, probably under the assumption that none of us would understand. All in all the most horrible experience I've ever had at any store. Definitely do not go there, the internet has more to offer, is cheaper, and you won't get cussed at there (at least not if you're just buying something).
When you walk in the store, I was overwhelmed by the abundance of stuff. The walls are lined with boxes on top of boxes and the walkways are narrow and slim, personally I felt claustrophobic in the store. But that is not why I'm writing this negative review. I went to the store to buy some Magic the Gathering Singles, the store owner helped me find the ones I was after, but after hearing the absurd price (Nearly double at what they should be priced) I kindly told him i wasn't interested in the cards anymore and wished him a good day. The store owner then demanded I pay him the money. I kindly turned him down. This time for angrily, he demanded that I pay him. Would no recommend this store to anyone.
A very special store. Filled with thousand comics and books. The owner was very unfriendly. I asked for old batman comics and where I could find older ones in this confusing store. He gave me a strange look, and said "which batman comics?". I said that I'm not searching for a special one, just older ones. He: "Well, the first one was selled for 1 Million dollar" (very funny, laughing) Then he showed me a new Batman comic, which includes older storys. But I was searching for old comics, not new comics with old storys. I said that this is sadly not what I'm searching for, thanked him and said good bye. No answer from him, just strange looks. I even said that it's a nice store to light up his mood. (Error 304: Mood not found) Just why. Why do you have to be so unfriendly? Definitely not coming back.
Horrible store owner, is rude and doesn't follow the law. Has stolen money and not returned it.
Één grote puinhoop. Ik verschoof een doos 10 centimeter en een lawine aan dozen en apparatuur donderde naar beneden. Vervolgens kwam er een nors baardmannetje om cynisch op te merken dat mensen beter moeten opletten. Ik wenste de man zelfinzicht toe en verliet de zaak om nooit meer terug te keren. Als een winkel zo'n diepe haat voor klanten uitstraalt, ben ik wel klaar.
