Nice hotel, old grandeur but in the new rooms the bathrooms are ridiculous small. Not worth the price at this point. Furthermore you cannot open the window and close the curtains at the same time. The rails come down. And that's not in one room but in several rooms. The are not mounted correct.
Well positioned for the centre of Groningen, surrounded by nice bars and restaurants. Hotel bar and restaurant looks good although didn’t make use of it myself.
Nice hotel. It is dated but very neat and clean. I like the design, it is from the Jugendstil period. Personnal is friendly. Room we had was clean but small, we gently woke up by the sound of the clocks of the Martinitower
The room was small but just big enough. Same for the bathroom. But clean and comfortable. The service is great and the cafe and restaurant are very good. I'm a fan!

Good place to stay for a few nights. Located in the heart of Groningen with all the facilities you need. Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast and they also have the option for you to dinner. A gigantic bar/ restaurant room with several seats and a biljart to entertain yourself a little bit more. I recommend you a walk through the city because of it's authenticity to get a sighting of the beautiful old architecture.
The hotel was very nice, close to city center and the train station. My room was small, but adequate for just one person. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast is good, with both sweet and salty foods, plus tea and coffee. Only drawback, upon arrival the room was quite cold, I had to turn on the heater manually. Luckily I arrived in the afternoon, otherwise I wouldn't have been able to sleep there.
