This is one of the best dining experiences I have ever had - making this a must-do when living in or visiting Groningen. The host is very welcoming and will provide you with a fantastic experience all round. It’s not just the diverse and delicious food that makes Grillhoek stand out, but also the ambient setting the host establishes. When dining at Grillhoek you will have the opportunity to pick from a wide range of dishes and drinks that come from a multitude of countries. The gastronomy is truly international. For instance, there are plenty of German-based BBQ meals to choose from. Grillhoek goes beyond local cuisine. It’s international and integrates different gastronomical elements into one great experience. Overall the homey atmosphere and great food made this a highlight during my trip to the Netherlands. I will definitely come back!

Best burgers in town! I love the ambience and the live music! Disabled people are welcome too. Althought that there is no disabled toilet. Just ring, give it a try :D
Honestly one of the best grills in th city. I stumbled upon it by accident. Not sure why I went in, but something just seemed right about it. When I did, the first thing that struck me was the atmosphere, just people enjoying themselves and having a great time. We didn't have to wait long for our food, and the staff was very nice, even engaging in some good and fruitful conversation. The food was excellent. I had a pasta dish, but I was not only given one, but several sauces to choose as I please. Was cheap too, 10/10

Food was delicious! I thought all they would have is bbq but the chef is very nice and flexible and made me this amazing homemade ramen bowl! Vegan options are also available:)
