In-store shopping
The worst bike shop in terms of ethics. If you request a chain repair, this bike shop will replace the chain and will charge you the price of a new chain, rather than fix your own. If you request repairs or check-ups while your bike is still under guarantee, this bike shop will ignore the guarantee and will offer you a new bike instead. Overall this is the worst bike shop in Groningen and the staff are not only unprofessional but incompetent.

I bought my bike here in august with great promises of being able to sell it back for half the price in January, as my exchange semester was over. Went back there with the bike (without any flaws, and even new tires) and was told that they didn't want to buy it back. The bike was expensive when I look back at it; the tires were old and the lights were poor. I definitely don't recommend people to go there! Check rather out different stores in the city centre or in Zernike Campus.
Lives up to its name, cheap bikes and decent quality. Friendly staff, always willing to help.
Good price/quality ratio. Fast and friendly. Well hopefully don't need to have a visit so soon, but if yes, I will return! ;)
Went here with my boyfriend to find a bike for myself. The guy showed me a rusty ugly bike that looks like it should cost 40eur and then he kept on asking my boyfriend \where are you from? are you dutch?\ When my boyfriend finally said no, the guy told me that the bike is 170eur and I wouldn't be able to find something cheaper. Of course we left. Found a better bike at Ster Fietsen after.
