AEGEE staat voor Association des Etats Généraux des Etudiants de l’Europe. Het is een studentenvereniging die actief is in meer dan 40 landen en 200 studentensteden. In totaal zijn meer dan 1300 mensen lid van een AEGEE-local en AEGEE-Groningen is hierdoor in staat veel leuke en leerzame interculturele activiteiten te organiseren. Dit gebeurt zowel op lokaal niveau, in Groningen, als op Europees niveau. Borrels zijn voor iedereen toegankelijk en vinden elke woensdag vanaf 22:00 plaats in café de Brouwerij (Poelestraat 27).

A very warm and welcoming atmosphere, a lot of awesome activities and a great international environment! There are also plenty of opportunities to make new friendships with students from all across Europe because AEGEE exists in a lot of other European cities. This network is also the reason why there are multiple memorable trips organized each year!

With tons of trips, exchanges and hitchhiking competitions, European events and lots of local activities, it offers a very diverse array of activities for everyone. Nothing is compulsory and you can decide how many activities you want to join and how active you want to be! I really recommend this association to Dutch and International students.
