After holding my wedding reception at Grittleton House this May I would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a wedding venue. Emma and the team were really helpful, both with the planning process and on the day. They ensured the day's schedule ran smoothly and we received many comments from our guests about how great the food was and how beautiful both the house and grounds are. We really liked the new in house accommodation and the additional accommodation at the Stables was convenient and reasonably priced for guests.

Me and my fiance have booked to have our wedding at Grittleton House this July. Unfortunately it couldn't go ahead due to COVID-19, but the Shipps, the lovely family who own and run Grittleton House, and the business manager Emma let us move to a new date of our choice without any penalties which saved a lot of heartache for us. Not only that, they hosted (free of charge) a romantic picnic for two for us on what would have been our wedding day. It was lovely to spend that day back at the venue and remember how truly stunning it is - it's such a beautiful setting for a wedding and we can't wait for the postponed big day! I like that the venue is family owned and run, as it makes it a far more personal experience and we've certainly benefitted from that personal touch during the pandemic and all its disruption.

We got married at Grittleton House in September 2019 and I could not recommend it more. The setting is incredible and there are so many rooms in the house it really is perfect for a wedding. Emma could not have been more helpful throughout the process and on the day she and Nelson were amazing. Given we have Ghanian and Persian family we wanted a bespoke wedding breakfast, we liaised with Andreas for a number of months and the food was excellent, so many of our guests complimented it. The bedrooms at the top of the house are a wonderful touch and it is fabulous to stay and have breakfast with all of your guests the next day. The staff were all so kind and helpful, especially when we were packing everything up! If you are thinking of booking a wedding here - DO IT, you will not regret it. Thank you to Emma, Vanessa and all the team for making our day so perfect!
