We parked our car at Grindelwald LGP and took the cable car to Pfingstegg. The lady the cash counter was super friendly and helpful. We also bought fun package for each of our girls where they could have unlimited rides on the fly line and toboggan. The guy at toboggan was very friendly and the two ladies at the fly line was extremely helpful and friendly, so 5 stars for all the staff. Girls considered the fly line to be a bit slow, but still fascinating. They loved the toboggan ride and it was quite safe for them. Before they rode the toboggan, I explained them the rules and they read the instructions with me. The instructions are written in 4 different languages but I hardly saw anyone reading them. Unfortunately it started raining soon, the toboggan got closed and our fun package got wasted. The girls were sad but that is mother nature :) Besides this, there are trails for hikes with amazing views. My kids also loved watching the goats and lambs and were super excited.

We took the cable cabin from Grindelwald to Pfingstegg. It costs 14 CHF one way (or 28CHF two ways). The way back takes 1 hour by walk. At 1391m the view is great. There is a restaurant up and you can enjoy the beautiful view of mountains and villages nearby. The coffee is ok. They also have some activities for children and adults. It's really a calm place. I strongly recommend to go up in the mountains and enjoy the panorama.

A gondola ride up to the Pfingstegg was a magnificent view. The Pfingstegg Toboggan ride was fun and it was a great experience. The view over the Grindelwald is spectacular!!

I would not recommend this location unless you are a local. Very unwelcoming to visitors. You pay 25 for a round trip gondola ticket. Then when you get to the restaurant and take a seat, the waitress tells you that you cannot stay because they are fully booked. Despite it being a very large restaurant and only 1/3 full. the gondola doesn’t run non-stop. It runs at intervals. So no extra guests would be arriving for a while. She said I can sit outside in the rain. It was very obvious they were not fully booked. She saw a solo traveller and assumed I was not going to spend enough money. Very bad service
