Had my bi-annual eye check and,needed new glasses. The lady who helped me Lisa, was lovely. I wasn't rushed at all and she wanted to make sure I got everything I needed. I came away feeling positive about spending quite a lot on my new glasses. I don't often feel like that!!

Took my mum in law last week to get eye tested and order 2 new prescription glasses and I am so shocked that she had to forked out a fortune......380!! Only little reduction before that and the staff there just sit back without helping her to reduce the cost of the bills etc....poor services with no helpful advice and hints at all so we are making a big complaint as it a very poor services.

I am reviewing on behalf of my 70 year old father and a full complaint has been issued. Issued two completely different prescriptions over two months in the Grimsby store, paid 259 initially for what is now clear was an incorrect prescription. Had to pay a further 30 two months later for new lenses once retested by the manager and a completely different prescription issued from two months previously. Still not correct so Asked for his lenses to be put in old frames in case that was the problem but the manager would only agree to that once handed the new frames paid over 200 for back, which he gave back! Prescription still incorrect so went to a different opticians who have sorted first time and issued a third different prescription to spec savers. He was made to feel a problem by the manager who said if he came back again he would have to start paying more money!!! Apparently there was a lot of people in the shop complaining their glasses were not right, awful awful customer service.

Eye test great picked glasses up within a fortnight my frame arm broke. Went in said it would be a week rang me to say new frame in would I bring my glasses in they already had them. Tried ringing 3 times each time they said they would get back to me and never did.
