I signed up around a year and a half ago I believe and missed a shift due to car troubles, my honest mistake. Then after that they wouldnt offer me any further jobs due to 'reliabilty reasons' when it was a genuine issue. So went straight to GI group and Meridian and was employed the next day for four months, until I found the permanent job I'm in now and have been for a year. Unrealistic management and an unfair system when a genuine issue arises and I rang back three months later for an additional shift and was told the couldn't take me on. Rediculous. Person who inducted me was nice but he lied to me saying there was no work, when in reality it's because they didn't want to take me on and I had to be told three months later by a new manager for that to happen. I only speak badly of this branch, I worked for The Royal Mail (great job if you like walking and your own hours) for 4 months two years ago in Northampton and man power there was a great asset to helping me find the work.
