Llvely setting. Fantastic food at reasonable prices. Good service and very good with our 2 year old, giving her a ticket pad when she was pretending to be a waitress. Great find!

I'd heard really good things about this place so I came in with high expectations for the atmosphere and quality of the food. Unfortunately, it seems to have changed quite a lot in recent times. The quirky and cosy old furniture has been replaced by generic characterless chain pub rubbish, and the delicious and unique food has been replaced by typical pub fare - and not well done pub fare at that. The food, though very reasonably priced and filling, was completely underwhelming, as was the limited selection of beers. The service however was excellent, though the food took a while to appear. A real shame and a disappointing trip - I would avoid for anything other than a quick and convenient pint and snack while visiting the nearby cycle shop. P.s. allergy sufferers beware - not all ingredients are listed on the menu - the chicken burger came with surprise chilli peppers...!
