We came yesterday for a lovely meal and stayed overnight in their new rooms. The food was amazing, the steak pie was full of beautiful steak with a lovely crisp topping and so filling, came with vegetables and was a good hearty meal. The desserts were to die for, lovely portion sizes and great value. This is a lovely pub in a lovely rural location. Breakfast this morning was also beautiful, I had the Full English and Kay had the Scrambled Eggs on Toast.

Visited midweek for a post lock down evening meal and we were pleasantly surprised. Menu contained locally sourced products and we had 3 different meals. All 3 were well presented and excellent value for money. Limited choice of real ales due to it being post lockdown but looks as though when in full swing it could be a great pub. At the time of our visit the pub it's undergoing refurbishment but what had been done so far looks good. Will be great to experience the finished place.
The Greyhound Inn do brilliant food. We were staying at Longnor Wood Holiday Park, which they also deliver to but we decided to go and eat in (Dogs are allowed in). Everything was excellent, I'm a massive steak fan and their T-Bone steak was perfect. They even let us come for breakfast the next day which is normally just for B&B customers. Great staff and we'll be looking at coming to stay in the B&B in the future.
We had a lovely stay at The Greyhound Inn. A really wonderful spot for enjoying the sunshine and stopping off to take in the sights of Derbyshire. Would highly recommend the Manifold Trail nearby, and talk to the staff at the Greyhound for some great local tips on walks and sights to see. Everyone who served us was super friendly and we had a wonderful nights sleep in the newly renovated rooms! Would recommend
Very good food and service, in a lovely setting. The batter on both the tempura prawns and the children's fish and chips was excellent. Leave room for dessert too!
