Beautiful setting, lovely old building, friendly efficient staff and food that's superb and reasonable. It looked a well balanced wine list but I was driving. Highly recommended.

DEFINITELY book a table here if you’re in the area. The people who work here are helpful and friendly and so welcoming and the food was amazing - the chicken was delicious and the homemade sauces too. The slaw was simple, but so fresh and flavourful. The other dish I tried was so good too, and the pudding was incredible! Thank you for a wonderful evening :) we had such a good time
A very nice small pub that has that old, cosy feeling about it. The food here was excellent - some proper tasty flavours going on. The staff were very friendly and seemed to enjoy being here which makes for a convivial atmosphere. I would definitely come here again and clear some space so I can try three courses.
Delicious food! Probably the best lamb I have ever eaten. The dauphonois potato was a bit disappointing though and definitely needed more seasoning
