A proper pub. Dog friendly. Good pub grub in large portions. I though a little more finesse would have been nice but I certainly knew I'd been fed and was in no way disappointed. My wife, however, thought her steak & kidney pie was one of the best she's ever had! Could have done without the annoying background music. Proper pubs don't need it.

Had our evening meal here on Saturday night and wasn't disappointed. The starters and mains were very good value for money including the drinks. Staff are friendly and with a visit.
Loved our meal tonight, looked on line at menu sadly not the same when we arrived but sure that was due to covid. Will definitely go back again, my steak was cooked perfectly.
