Chef Samir Shaltout

The food was really good and authentic. The tagine was tasty and the desserts were delicious! The ambience is one of a kind but sadly due to the pandemic we could not eat inside. Chef Samir is not only a good cook but also a great guy to talk to. Just be prepared to wait 2x the ETA the restaurant gives you.

We called ahead and picked up takeout here. The food was amazing, fresh, and very tasty. Chef Samir cares about the dishes he prepares. Takeout presentation even reflected his attention to detail. He was also wearing a mask, which we appreciated. When we're out that way again, we will certainly plan it so we can order more to bring back home to enjoy! Also, the restaurant is so very beautiful inside, but at this time there was no indoor dining.

Amazing food, hands down. I have traveled in the Middle East extensively and Chef Samir creates some of the best Mediterranean dishes I have ever tasted. Not only was the food absolutely delicious, I could tell the food was prepared with care. I am very skeptical about take out, because usually the food does not agree with my body, however I truly believe the pride that Chef Samir devotes to his cuisines, ultimately creates a meal that is bursting with flavor AND you feel really good afterwards and the next day. If you want healthy, clean eating, without compromising taste, Chef Samir is the man! Thank you we will return!!

I had my engagement dinner yesterday and I cannot thank Chef Samir enough for making everything so perfect and delicious! He was extremely professional and generous and really took his time with the presentation of the food - everybody absolutely loved it and there weren't any leftovers! If you are needing some delicious food for an event and want your guests to come back for second and third plates then you NEED to contact Chef Samir! Thank you sooooo much!

The best place to enjoy an authentic and mouth-watering Egyptian cuisine served by one of the best chef in Greensboro, NC. I love all the dishes especially the broiled fish, hamburger, lamb chops and festive seafood. The ambience is filled with Egyptian pictures that may look like a museum.
