Lovely place to walk around and enjoy. Peaceful and tranquil. Everytime you visit you notice more things. There's a historical observation platform you can climb. Lovely for taking photos.

Beautiful place. I run there often, and it's beautiful in the summer and in the winter. Large body of water in the middle of the busy city. Plenty of wildlife...and water sports available. Worth a stop if in the area.
Greenland Docks provides beautiful views. From One end there’s skyline of Canary wharf, the financial capital of London and from another end Shard (the tallest building of London) is seen. Connected to the dock there’s a gym and Water sports clubs so you can sometime see people boating in the water. There’s benches along so can sit and feel the comfort of water and breeze. On sunny days its amazing to sit by the dockside. There’s track/ footpath along the dock for people to walk, jod, cycle and appreciate the beauty. It’s certainly a Beautiful place to walk and jog around. Since Serene and relaxing its a good idea to sit and get calm when the routine goes crazy. From 10:00pm to 8:am its not allowed to make noise as it’s surrounded by a residential properties. Since the noise cause eco that travel through water and reach to the residential buildings along the dockside. One has to be very careful for bringing here kids since water is deep and there’s no solid barriers around. Falling in water may be life threatening!
The Christmas lights festuned on the boats in the dock are fabulous.
This is a particularly picturesque spot for photographers in London. It is a peaceful place with magnificent views of Canary Wharf. It is really atmospheric and special... feels like you are in a different country.
