First class tour of this historic site. The control tower needs more related historic content albeit none of that will be from this site. Video's of the Cruise missile carriers in action and a tour of a missile bunker would also enable a fee to be charged for the tour which would be justified in my view and enable maintenance costs to be met.Truly excellent volunteers talking through related facts. Runways now broken up and covered but walkable. A wonderful site that should be expanded for the benefit of domestic and international tourists. More should also be made at the site of the Greenham Women that successfully put the removal of nuclear warheads on the international stage throughout the site history when being actively utilised to store substantial numbers of nuclear warheads.

Wonderful piece of innovation to remind us what has gone here before and so glad they've responded to pandemic....we we lucky with this green space and to be able to grab a coffee is a treat! Lovely friendly attitude from staff, always. Thanks.

Love the freedom of Greeham Common. A lovely place to walk, cycle or run on. Endless pathways some protected areas for the wildlife but great on a sunny day. Pack a picnic and you will enjoy!

Car parking is a bit of a squeeze but the common is worth it. Plenty of space to walk round either on the gravel paths or the grass. Cows grazing are a bonus. Shame there are three fences preventing access and good views of the silos that were used in the Star Wars movies. All in all a good place to walk.

Very interesting to visit and learn more about the air force base that existed in Newbury. The views from the Tower are magnificent! The staff are very friendly and knowledgeable with a positive attitude towards teaching and sharing stories with people. It would be amazing if the Trust could open the Tower everyday as well as the cafe. A great place to visit with children as the actual Woodland park is open all day.
