Enjoyed a lovely sausage and egg sandwich in brown bread, it was delicious, and reasonably priced. My review today is about the lady who came back from a delivery and immediately put on her net and hat, washed her hands and asked if everybody was been served. Great service and highly recommended
3rd visit - 2 have been tremendous both myself and my partner are working on a property in Eccleshill, the commute from Horsforth to the house means a Friday morning sandwich is on the cards from Greengates sandwich shop. 8:30am Ordered 2 sandwiches - Bacon Spam and egg for my partner - WD Bacon Egg and Tom for me. Whilst eating I was finding the rind on my bacon not cooked as well as my partner noticed this to, but hey ho we carried on eating. 1:30pm my body started to shut down whilst working on the property, my back started to ache my head started to bang and my stomach started to cramp. After leaving the house and getting home earlier than normal I myself had got food poisoning, fast forward and after many visits to you know what and all the FP common issues apart from vomiting I’m now on day 3, Monday morning 6am writing this, getting up and visiting you know what many times an hour. This is no lie no joke or anything, I will not be visiting here again nor would I ever recommend Greengates Sandwich Shop. I’m sorry to the shop to have to write this but I feel it is needed to stop anyone else from being so ill, this has been an awful spell of food poisoning for 3 days and I wouldn’t want anyone else to get this. I ask the shop to check it’s cooking procedure properly especially the bacon such as WD mine was no where near but my other 2 previous were so has the cook changed? Is the cook poorly? Is someone else working there this last Friday as apposed to the 2 Fridays before?
