I could speak English but even though I considered myself fluent, I made many mistakes and I struggled to understand native English speakers. I don’t have that problem any more. I’m used to most of the English accents and I can watch and understand an American movie without any subtitle whatsoever. The teachers are really competent, they know their subjects really well, they are patient and friendly. I have learned much more during that last year than during the ten years before. Although I can still make mistakes my self-confidence increased since my ability to speak with all those people improved. And that’s not all, I learned how to become a tutor and I’m aiming to earn my living with that new aptitude that brought much more enjoyment than I expected.
