On the 20th of October my daughter arranged a surprised 60th Birthday party at the Old Bell Harpenden. In total 26 guests arrived ,the service was excellent despite no pre -order beforehand .The food was prepared quickly and presented beautifully. The manager of the day was very attentive and professional I would like to thank him and the staff for such an excellent and memorable experience . I was also presented with a bottle of champagne which was quite unexpected . Thank-you once again.
7/9/19 Had an 18th birthday party at the nickelodeon Bentley Bridge.. 40 of us ate together the staff were amazing and the food was piping hot. A great service was had and a big thank you to everyone who worked hard to look after us.
Chesterfield Donkey Derby: Dropped in for a drink with friends after a meal in town on a Sat night earlier this month. At the bar we were served by Richard who made you feel like you had known him personally (but in a professional manner!) for ever, he was relaxed and fun and he made you feel at home, while continuing to serve you simultaneously, hence not dropping the efficiency in any way. The place was clean and tidy (despite being rather busy) including the toilets. No complaints what so ever. Would I go again? Well, mainly thanks to Richard, I did, the very next day with my partner and took 2 other friends. We had a lovely meal. The choice and quality of food was very good, and the service was excellent, very friendly, personable and efficient. Richard was there again, recognised us and asked 'did you enjoy your night last night?' Wow, how good is that for making you feel special? Excellent customer service skilled demonstrated. Would recommend him to any customer focussed employer. Would recommend this pub too :-)
The Shipley Bridge near Crawley is a pub I would recommend. It has a very good ambiance and the quality of the meals is very good. The staff are all very friendly and nothing is too much trouble. Yvonne the manager runs a very good pub and the assistant manager Amanda is always on hand for any help with the specials menu or extra's that may be required. Keep up the good work Guy's.
