As executor of an estate, needing to liquidate nearly 50 years of accumulated \treasures\ including a home, I was really glad to be introduced to Hurley. They put my mind at ease by organizing the sale of the contents and then arranging the sale of the property. All done very professionally, and efficiently. I am quite satisfied that we honored the deceased's wishes and accomplished all in a very reasonable time. Thank you Hurley Auctions.

I've been purchasing through Hurley's online auction service for a few years now with mostly positive experiences. However, at a recent auction I had a major issue with a purchase. I immediately set blame on Hurley auction and proceeded to tell them so through an email. I received an immediate response and follow up phone call. Hurley took the time to listen to my concerns and went out of their way to make the situation right. For that they deserve 5 stars, but taking one away for the initial issue. Based on this and past experiences, I'd recommend Hurley to anyone. It's a tough job to fully satisfy a wide ranging customer base, but I believe they do their best to achieve that goal. My advice to anyone that has an issue with them, would be to simply call or email and talk through the problem. I'm sure you'll find the same customer service and respect that I received.

We had a real estate and personal property auction conducted by Hurley's. All staff were professional, knowledgeable, and courteous!! The real estate manager, in particular, was outstanding to work with. She also represented us in finding us a new home. We are repeat customers with Hurley's based off of our previous experience with our parent's home and personal property 3 years ago. Hurley's has been a pleasure to work with throughout the entire process.

I wish zero stars was an option. This establishment is very unprofessional, rude, and shady. I was extremely interested in a house they had for sale by auction. But unfortunately, this house never made it to auction because they changed the selling method without notifying anyone. One day it was listed “For sale by auction” and the next it said “Contingent.” It was also then, that the listing added “Pre-Auction offers considered.” I know Hurley Auctions will respond to this post saying that it was stated as such the whole time, however, it was not. I spoke with Hurley auctions on the phone on more than one occasion to get information about the auction, and this was not once relayed to me. I received an information packet about the auction as well, where this was not stated. I went to look at the house with my real estate agent, and we both read through the listing to see if an offer could be made, but the listing only stated that the property would be offered for sale by AUCTION. It is very disappointing with how this whole thing unfolded. I am more than upset by their actions. I believe they made some sort of “inside” shady deal. But none-the-less, I would strongly encourage everyone to avoid business with them (Unless you have the “in’s” with them and they can work their shady magic in your favor, all the while screwing everyone else).

I have been to literally hundreds of auctions and have dealt with many employees of these auctioneers 99.9% of my experiences have been enjoyable and fun as I love auctions it is my main recreation and very therapeutic from the stress of my job. HURLEY AUCTION IS THE RUDEST AND HAS THE MOST INCONSIDERATE WORKERS I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH. You would be wise to avoid these bitter and unethical people.
