Lovely relaxing place. Good menu for eating in or outside. Helpful and friendly staff. Finish or start your walk with a cuppa, or something more substantial. It is a hot favourite with dog walkers and their pooches as they are particularly well catered for here with little bowls of sausage or chews. Can get a bit mad sometimes, not unknown for a dog to take off after wildlife whilst still tethered to a chair. Short nature walk, bee hives, orchards and large pond so lots of wildlife,birds to dragonflies. Very easy to while away an afternoon in the sun. Limited blue badge parking on hard standing. Or park in the park's carpark which has plenty of space and is a short walk away.
Request for 2 bacon sandwiches.brown bread not really fresh tasted stale white bread not very fresh either bacon only just warm so not freshly cooked not very nice and expensive for what was received. Latte though was good.
Love this cafe, good menu for a small enterprise, and staff are fab.
Truly excellent food and very dog friendly - my labradors highly recommend the 'dog sausages'.
