My friend and I were invited to have dinner here, never been or heard of this place. It was amazing no complaints, the pie was perfect, the gravy out of this world, the veg crunchy and the chips proper home made. I loved it. Considering I don't eat pies it was perfection! Highly recommend.

Superb home-made meat pies here--light crust, tender meats, gravy that has been simmered to perfection. Avoid the touristy joints nearby -- the Cutty Sark, for instance--and seek out the places locals in the know go. Large portions, including a big plate of broccoli, carrots and cabbage to go with you entree. Chips would be better if home fries, but what are you going to do? It's England.

I had a nice time. The pub was grubby but the staff and customers were very friendly. If it had a face-lift it would definitely get four stars.
We had a roast beef dinner here today, the roast potatoes are the best we've eaten. Thankyou.
