Sadly the best pub in East Anglia is unable to sell takeaway beer under the current lockdown. Looking forward to when it reopens as it's a cracking venue - friendly staff, comfortable surroundings, and lots of atmosphere. As for the beer, it has to be sampled to be believed. They have their own brewery on site and always have interesting new beers alongside traditional favourites. Really good value, too.

An excellent pub which serves an extensive range of beers including those from its own onsite brewery. Very popular with locals and visitors to the town.
Excellent ales. Lovely beer garden. Slick Covid-19 registering with friendly beer knowledgable staff.
Friendly. Great service. Great Beer. Coping very well with the pandemic in 2020. Occasionally food from the kitchen at the back.
