Great Wall

I was visited this shop yesterday when under the new management. Bravo!! House special fried rice is excellent! Salt and spicy squid so lovely! Must be back and HIGHLY RECOMMEND !

Waited for ages for a walk in. The place was absolutely freezing also while I waited. They don't take cards. When I got home I had the completely wrong order it was some goopy MSG filled chicken dish. The whole place including the menu hasn't changed since the 80s.

Extremely poor !!!!! Crispy chilli beef was a cold rubbery mess and obviously reheated in a microwave. Batter on chicken balls was soggy with the accompanying sweet and sour sauce tasting like jam. The other dishes ordered were equally as poor with chewy meat and tasteless watery sauces. Food was taken back and refund was given. No apology was given but I was asked never to return. Try it for for yourself if you want to experience the worst take away food in the South with customer service that is like no other. Great Wall you are a joke

Mixed reviews.. but for me always good I have tried a few others in the area but found their sauces to be watery compared to great wall.. Haven't found a better black bean sauce than great wall

Rude service, terrible delivery and unsanitary food. The rude little man on the end of the phone needs to learn some manners and take a health and hygiene class. Raw chicken (might of been any animal, I have my suspicions it was feline), fried rice is actually boiled, curry sauce is the packet stuff that you can buy from any supermarket. Unfortunately my hangry self took over and I ordered from this Chinese as my usual was busy. Massive mistake, I’d rather live off roadkill for a week than eat from ‘Great Wall’ again. (Disappointment wall might be a great change of name).
