This has to be one of the best sushi places in the middle of Europe. I did never expect to get sushi at this class anywhere as I know from trips to Japan how real sushi should be and this is as close as you can get. You prolly need to go to Japan or one of the premium sushi places in New York or LA to be on that same level.
I'm an Australian living in this beautiful city of Graz..in fact over the last 5 years. Whenever I have felt the need to indulge in a Japanese culinary feast, nothing surpassed Memori. Trust me; I know what good Japanese food is having enjoyed it at some of the finest Japanese restaurants in Melbourne and other Asian countries. Recently though, I have found that some dishes are no longer as good as I remember them from the first time I visited especially given their prices. Most of the dishes has become rather average and alarmingly, the portion of the serve has decreased dramatically. Nonetheless, I hope the management reverts back to what made this Graz institution a lovely place to visit, spend and indulge but otherwise, the last time may indeed be my last visit. For the moment, I'd rather give it a miss until it improves again...
One of the best sushi restaurant I was ever at. I only wish MEMORI existed close to my living place too! Great and personalised service. Simply the best!!
