Had to be done. A little ride on a little boat to nowhere. The world's end apparently. Great form of transport if it's on your route. 4 return off peak. Runs every half an hour. Not on Sundays.

Nice early morning stroll along the front before the crowds turned up. Couple of hours free parking in a road nearby too. Obviously not much open due to the pandemic.
A lovely trip across to Tilbury Where you will arrive at Tilbury Cruise terminal. Sometimes you can sea huge Ocean going cruise liners docked here waiting for their passengers. Just a short walk up the road is The World's End Pub , Tilbury Fort and Tilbury's train station . Return fair is 4 off peak .

Today just an onlooker taking photos on the river. A few years ago I had a ride across on the ferry and back. Enjoyable experience. Reasonably priced fare and if you have a bus pass it can be used on the ferry too.
