Great beer, great food, and served amazingly fast. Just what a proper English pub should be, and all the more praiseworthy given the current Covid precautions. Landlord and staff were working extra-hard to keep everything safe. I even saw one customer put on a mask just to celebrate a penalty goal on the TV footie, and those who didn't were politely urged to sit down by the landlord. Good polite and efficient service, without fawning. No dramas. This is how to do it.

A roast 2nd to none! What a fantastic, lovely, clean and warm feeling pub! Staff are lovely and amazingly dog friendly I honestly can’t wait to get back for another roast you will not be disappointed!! Update - went again today (12.1.20) even better than I had remembered!!
Tight place, but welcoming on a rainy afternoon. The Winston burger was a bit dry, but nevertheless very filling and generous. The chips could use normal condiments, without being chased around the bar, but it's just normal pub operation. Definitely recommend.
This is not a Restaurant it is a pub that sells food! 6.50 for a tuna baguette with a tiny portion of salad that would get lost inside the roll. The pint of Harveys ( my favourite beer) was on the turn. Then to add insult to injury they have the nerve to put a Service Charge on top!!! Should all pubs that sell food call themselves \ Restaurants\ & add a service charge for 2 baguettes? I don't think so. My wife doesn't like me to complain so we left quietly never to return. Be warned!!
Nice lunch passing through Westerham on our way to the South coast.. staff very friendly and helped us out when we were late due to traffic. Would recommend for good food and ale.... Thanks again!
