Absolutely loved the place, is located so nicely beside a river which makes it more enjoyable having a quick bite and drink in the garden. The staff is very nice and welcoming, the food and drinks are very good as well and not expensive either. If your travels take you to Grasmere have a stop and you will not regret it for sure! Enjoy

Nice cafe with the option to eat overlooking the river. Lots of choice on the menu including some delicious looking home baked cakes. Unfortunately as it was Xmas I ordered a mince pie which was obviously not in the same league and looked store bought.
Exceptional service from the friendly helpful staff. We stopped off for a quick bite to eat during our walk. Would recommend and will be calling back again
HIGH FORCE WATERFALLS...TEESDALE. ( not Grasmere) Absolutely great day out for all ages. Walked to top of falls both sides, you can feel the water spray on your face & a walk down bottom falls too. \u200d️\u200d️\u200d️\u200d️
Lovely lunch here today. A short wait was required but that was all. Quickly ordered bacon sandwich for one child, a sausage sandwich for the other and two bowls of chilli with nachos for The Mrs and I. The food was very nice and the surroundings were too. We chose to eat inside but outside is undercover beside the river with patio heaters. Hardly a discomfort.
