Expert advice and a friendly welcome in this little gem of a shop. Their mantra is 'drink less, drink better': this is so much better than supermarket plonk. Delicious wines adorn the walls near the entrance, bargains are on the table in the middle, local ciders and beers a bit further back, then right at the back is the 'naughty room' with spirits and the special wines. Support local shops and spend your money here - you won't regret it.

It’s so easy to switch from buying wine at the supermarket to supporting local businesses who really add value. Bruce at Grape and Grain is a remarkable wine guide. Whether you want a budget friendly “Wednesday wine” as he calls it or something more exciting for a special occasion there is only enthusiasm, good advice and personal service.
Lovely wine shop, always really helpful and friendly. Very knowledgeable about his wines and will always make the right choice for his customers. Highly recommended
