Wow, if I could give this place more than 5 stars, I would. The staff are so friendly and polite, and the food is something else, best pizza ever. And the desert pizza's are something special. We had an amazing meal here and will definitely be returning. The gentleman at the entrance to the restaurant carriages who wears a kilt, was very friendly and welcoming, and you can have a laugh with the chef too who is also very friendly. The shop also has some beautiful things including some very pretty hand made jewellery. I cannot rate this highly enough and can't wait to go back.

Thank you for taking such good care of the royals today. Princess Georgia had a wonderful time and Prince James really loved her ice cream. Lovely food and really welcoming, genuinely friendly people in a unique and interesting location. We will definitely return next time we are in the area. I would recommend for families of all ages.

I understand times are a struggle for everyone, but we found one particular member of staff very rude about use of the toilets, assuming we were not customers, and only reluctant to let us use them after confirming we had a table booked (even then it seemed like a big inconvenience). The pizzas were not bad, but would be trying something a bit more traditional pizza topping-wise if we were in the area again. The mix of cooked and uncooked salmon wasn't the best experience.

This place is fantastic, Andrew in the visitors centre was very friendly & gave us a good bit of info as we didn't even know this place was here, then Frank from the food carriages was again very friendly & welcoming, getting us a table even though we had not reserved one, the food was top class, freshly prepared & very fast,

Lovely place to visit and the staff in the gift shop(Andrew) and dining car ( Frank) were very helpful and friendly and the man who took us round the train track was very nice and made the kids enjoy the ride,( they loved it.)
