We went to the Forest Restaurant inside the garden centre for afternoon tea, the Victoria sponge is scrumptious. The restaurant looks much better than the old one. Interesting selection of jams and puppets. Mostly #wheelchair accessible.
A really lovely & unique garden centre, with a warm & friendly restaurant that's dog friendly, theres also a number of small units which offer a wide range of shopping experiences from weaving, flowers to hot tubs. Plus all the gorgeous plants/shrubs/trees.
Excellent garden centre - it has improved since new ownership with very helpful staff, the garden centre is a credit to them. In addition I had a problem with a pansy basket I bought - it was not doing well at all. I contacted them via e mail and got a rapid response and the next day they changed it with no fuss - thank you. This is the service you should get and I will always return and buy further products. Customer service excellent.
Love it there, great to get ales from the beer hut
