Tons of drink options, and all the food we tried was great! Jerk chicken waffle fry nachos were way bigger than expected with generous amounts of meat. We barely had an appetite for our food and had to take the rest home. Moco loco bowl and Kim's Chi sandwich were fabulous also. And the bartender was great also. We WILL DEFINITELY be coming back.

The ambiance was stunning! The food, drinks and service were stellar! Can't wait to go back! Everyone was so nice! Hope to get seated at the main bar next time! Randy's the best! Thank youuu everyone... I've found my new favorite spot!
Pros: atmosphere is fun & different. Drinks were good & the staff were nice. Cons: dinner was not great & appetizer was nothing special. Basically I would probably pay no more than 8-10 for our meals, but since they are around 30 I wanted to leave an honest review. I got the drunken noodles, husband got the bulgogi beef. I’d go back for drinks, but would never pay the price for the dinner again.
Wonderful ambiance. Ample parking. Great drink selection. Great wait staff. So many things to try on the menu. Whatever you choose, you won't be disappointed.
This place has become my absolute favorite restaurant! I love all the cocktails I have tried so far. And my favorite entree is the Kim Chi's Steak Sandwich. It's absolutely fabulous! The waffles fries are great as well. My husband and I will definitely be returning with our tiki passports.
Our experience at Max’s was amazing. The food was incredible. We ordered the poo poo platter. The drinks are beautiful and strong! I cannot wait to go back. My favorite item was the spring rolls!
Took my wife here for a much needed date night. The atmosphere was great. The cocktails were strong. The Polynesian flavor profile didn't suit either of us. We didn't really like our entrees. The manager tried hard to get us to try another option to make things better. I reassured her i wasn't going to be "that person". I told her we were very satisfied with our pu pu platter appetizers. I asked her to not comp anything and to bring us our bill. Friendly staff.
Loved the atmosphere and entire experience at Max's South Sea Hideaway! As soon as you walk in the door, its like stepping into a Hawaiian paradise. All of the tiki decorations and music are outstanding and its just amazing how it all comes together so well. The drink menu is extensive! You'd think that the big menu on the table is for food but no, its all drinks. I had a such a hard time deciding which to try first, luckily our server was very helpful. When it came time to order food our server was helpful yet again in helping us decide. I ordered the huli huli ribs and my date ordered the poke dip - both were amazing! Even though there was a slight mix up with our food (we received another tables food) they made it right by giving us free dessert which was the tableside bonfire! We even got a private tour of the upstairs portion of the restaurant (which was closed on the day we went). I cannot say enough good things about Max's! We will definitely be going back soon.
