Loved it! We were in the luxury parlor car on the way there and the luxury dome on the way back. Wonderful trip! Friendly staff and very clean. Social distance practices for seating and mask required.

I took my mother-in-law on the train ride to the Grand Canyon, she absolutely loved it! The guide assigned to our car was See; she was amazing! Dee was friendly and kept us entertained with fun facts. See is also an awesome bartender! We enjoyed the cowboy show before boarding and the guitarists who serenaded us on the way to and from the canyon. Being in first class was a bonus, the seats were plush and the boxed snacks were filling. In all, every staff member at the Grand Canyon Railway gave unparalleled customer service; they were all helpful and friendly and we really enjoyed the whole experience! I would highly recommend taking the train into the Grand Canyon for an unforgettable memory.
This was so much fun! My kids loved it. The attendant was amazing. The actors and the musicians made it so much more interactive and engaging. I personally liked having the dining car as part of the experience. The history and fun of it made the experience good for all ages.
The Grand Canyon Railway and Hotel are truly two gems that may not get picked up and most people's travel plans. I've now placed them on my Top 10 all time travel favorites. The Hotel and Railroad are linked together and make it easy to have a combined overnight stay and next day travel to the Grand Canyon. All accommodations are extremely family oriented. The corral gunfight, a favorite for kids and adults alike, occurs at 9:00 before you board the train. The train is off at 9:30 sharp, straight to Grand Canyon Village, which is on the South Rim. The accommodations were exceptionally clean, and the staff was more than helpful in every respect. This is one trip where you want to take time out and go back in history.
We took our kids on the train ride from Williams to the Canyon and back. The whole experience was so much fun! The show was funny and entertaining and the ride itself was comfortable. I would definitely recommend for families. Bonus you miss sitting in that long line to get into the canyon by using the train!
